Casalchino is a historic 17th-century post station located along the Via Francigena, still travelled today by walkers and pilgrims through the historic countryside of San Gimignano.
In this authentic setting, surrounded by Tuscan hills, vineyards and conviviality, the wine tasting becomes an immersive experience dedicated to discovering the wines and flavors of the local territory.
From the panoramic position of Casalchino, the view opens across Val d’Elsa and the Chianti hills, with wide views over the Tuscan countryside and, on clear days, as far as the distant profile of the Apennines.
The tasting is more than simply sampling wine: through each glass, a story emerges about the territory, local traditions and the wine culture connected to San Gimignano.
Between wine, landscape and tradition, the experience maintains a simple, authentic and convivial atmosphere, designed for small groups in the most genuine side of Tuscany.
