Our Story
Hands in the dough — here we go!
Let’s wash our hands, put on our aprons, and gather our pans and utensils — it’s time to start cooking together.
Our cooking classes are, first and foremost, a convivial moment, meant to be enjoyed slowly and with pleasure.
Massimo and Sandra will guide you step by step, sharing not only recipes, but also their passion for food, wine, the history of the land, and the everyday traditions of life in Tuscany.
We choose fresh, genuine, local ingredients, because we believe cooking works best when a few well-combined elements retain their own identity, without unnecessary overlap. We share the simplicity of everyday dishes, Sunday meals, and the essential flavors that are part of our culture.
During the class, we also talk about wine, just as it naturally happens at the table, pairing the dishes with local wines, without formality, but with care and respect for what we are sharing.
At the end of the class, which lasts about 3 hours, we will sit down together to enjoy lunch or dinner, ending the meal with a good Italian coffee, overlooking the vineyards and the surrounding landscape.
Italian cuisine, now recognized as UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage,represents for us a healthy, genuine, and sustainable way of living tradition.

Florentine-style T-bone steak
The Bistecca alla Fiorentina is a true symbol of Tuscan tradition — a premium cut of beef, grilled over an open flame to keep the inside tender and juicy. Served rare and simply seasoned with extra virgin olive oil and coarse salt to enhance the pure flavor of the meat.
Mixed Grill

The art of Tuscan breadmaking with homemade loaves, focaccia, and fragrant flatbreads. Prepared with high-quality flours and natural leavening, perfect to accompany cured meats, cheeses, and other traditional specialties of the region. Made using sourdough starters and ancient grain flours.
Pizza
Dough slowly leavened and oven-baked to achieve a crispy crust and soft interior. Topped with fresh, genuine ingredients — from the classic Margherita (tomato, basil, and mozzarella) and Marinara (tomato, garlic, oregano, and extra virgin olive oil) to more creative combinations with seasonal vegetables, artisanal cheeses, and local cured meats.

An Authentic Tuscan Experience
We had an amazing cooking experience with Massimo in the most beautiful setting next to an olive grove, surrounded by vineyards. We learnt to make two different types of pasta and two authentic Tuscan sauces, which we then cooked and shared for lunch together with local wine. Massimo was such a considerate host and generously shared his sommelier knowledge with us too. We would heartily recommend the experience, which was authentic and very friendly. The distinctive skyline of San Gimignano was on the horizon and we felt we had a very genuine experience, and will take home our new recipes. There were five of us in our group and it was a great experience to do with our adult children.
